Damac Heights is a 90-level residential tower on the Dubai marina.  It required the lighting design to be sensitive to the function of the building, with none of the elements being, in any way, intrusive.  The brief was to use the colours of the Dubai landscape and make it as dramatic as possible.  The base was washed with cool blue floodlights, the profile of the building was outlined with neon, as well as every alternate balcony.  The top section was washed with floodlights in yellow to represent sand and blue to represent the sea.
