Peepshow 3d Visualisation is run by me, Jennifer Christensen. I started my career in the field of visual merchandising design for major retailers from 1990 till 1997. During this period I gained invaluable experience in techniques used in visual marketing. I also learned a lot about retail design which has been very useful in developing my understanding of creating visual impact, space planning and efficient store layout. In 1998 I joined my partner, Pete Christensen of Flowerpot Studio in a new venture. My role in this venture was all things relating to computer generated design. As a life-long dedicated fine artist I was able to transfer my artistic talents from the paint brush, to the computer keyboard. During this time I created business cards, newspaper and magazine ads, logo designs and album covers. In addition I also got my introduction to web programming with projects using Flash and Director. In 2002 Flowerpot Studio got a call from the US to create the pilot for a cooking and lifestyle show called "Eat This". This project required 3d graphics and prompted my leap into the wonderful world of 3d modeling. The show subsequently went into production in 2006, and was broadcast on BBC food. The addition of 3d graphics to my capabilities led to a whole new world of opportunity. From 2003 until 2006 I continued to produce many graphics using both 2d and 3d software. Such as:
The projects that required replacement of real shop facades with 3d shop facades were my first introduction to the world of architectural 3d. Which has led to my latest passion, architectural 3d visualisation. Since 2007 I have been involved in 3d visualisations for a wide range of architects and designers. Please see the Projects Section of this site for a comprehensive look at the work I am currently producing.
